This website is operated by John P. Pratt and represents a small branch of the Church in Duchesne, Utah. I am an elder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints based in Brazil. This website attempts to inform readers about it. The website is not about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (note the hyphen), based in Salt Lake City, Utah. This site concerns the church based in Brazil, which is the continuation of the original church founded by Joseph Smith.

I am a witness of the gold Plates of Mormon, the unsealed portion of which were translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith into the Book of Mormon. Now, the first part of the sealed portion of those plates has been translated by the Brazilian seer, Mauricio Berger, into The Sealed Book of Mormon.

This website is not an official website of the Church in Brazil, but represents our best understanding of its teachings and history. The official website is TheSealedBookOfficial.org. The purpose of this website is for those curious about the Church to find quick answers to their questions about the basics.
